Welcome Reception

The Histiocyte Society Welcome Reception, sponsored by the Histiocytosis Association of America will be held at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum on Monday, October 18, 2010 from 8pm - 11pm. All registered meeting attendees will receive one ticket included in their registration packet. Additional tickets may be purchased online for $125 until June 30, 2010 at which time ticket prices will increase. Admission will include transportation to/from the event, museum tour, hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and entertainment.

Isabella Stewart Gardner first welcomed visitors to her museum on New Year’s Day, 1903. On that evening guests listened to the music of Bach, Mozart, and Schumann, gazed in wonder at the courtyard full of flowers, and viewed one of the nation’s finest collections of art.  Today, visitors experience much the same thing. The Gardner Museum has remained essentially unchanged since its founder’s death in 1924. Unchanged but certainly not stagnant. Three floors of galleries surround a garden courtyard blooming with life in all seasons. The galleries are filled with paintings, sculptures, tapestries, furniture and decorative arts from cultures spanning thirty centuries.

Histiocyte Society Annual Banquet

Enjoy the banquet on an Odyssey Cruise  on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 7pm - 1am. All registered meeting attendees will receive one ticket included in their registration packet. Additional tickets may be purchased online for $150 until June 30, 2010 at which time ticket prices will increase. The event will cocktail hour, sit down plated dinner, music and dancing. Docking will open at 7pm at the Hyatt Harborside Hotel dock.
